Within the same municipality

The registered office municipality remains unchanged. The address change must be notified to the Commercial Register; it generally does not require an amendment to the articles if the full address is not stated in them.

To another municipality

For a corporation or LLC, transferring the registered office requires an amendment to the articles, a decision by the competent body and a public deed.

To another canton

The transfer also involves the new canton’s Commercial Register. We check the documents and signing requirements applicable to your file.

1. Describe the change
