This is your company’s official name in the Commercial Register, known as the “raison sociale” in French. Changing it for an SA or Sàrl requires a company resolution and a notarised amendment to its articles of association.

Provide your current registered company name, Swiss business identification number (UID, known as IDE in French) and proposed new name. An alternative can be useful if your first choice presents difficulties.
The file is tailored to your company. We prepare the documents and coordinate the notary; decisions, signatures and any powers of attorney follow the instructions provided.
The file is submitted to the Commercial Register. Registration remains subject to its review; the timetable also depends on complete documents and signatures.
A company name search is a starting point. It does not rule out every conflict with existing trademarks: registration of a company name and trademark protection are separate matters.
After registration, plan to update your invoices, banking details, contracts and digital materials. Inform clients and business partners to make the transition easier.

Yes, for an SA or Sàrl: the name appears in the articles of association and changing it requires a notarised deed. The formalities for a sole proprietorship are different.
The CHF 490 package, excluding VAT, includes notary fees. Commercial Register fees are charged separately.
