Profile · Partner
Swiss certified accountant · Partner and head of operations
I lead Karpeo’s operations and oversee the quality of the firm’s engagements. I advise SMEs and self-employed professionals on tax, VAT, payroll and cross-border matters that require a precise understanding of the Geneva context.

My professional principles
The quality of an engagement depends on technical accuracy, visible organisation and a clear enough relationship to address issues before the deadline.
Financial statements, tax returns and VAT returns must be documented, consistent and delivered within the deadlines applicable to the engagement.
Business owners should know where their engagement stands, what information is missing and which decisions are theirs to make. Availability and transparency are essential.
Continuous training, shared technical discussions and proportionate controls allow each team member to take responsibility for their engagements.
My day-to-day role
My role combines two responsibilities: becoming directly involved in sensitive technical matters and ensuring a reliable method of work across the team.
Precision is not optional. It should be visible in the file, in the deadline met and in the explanation given to the client.
I spent eight years in financial audit at PwC in Geneva. My engagements covered SMEs, industrial groups, watchmaking businesses and private banks.
These environments taught me to approach complex transactions methodically, document controls and protect confidential information. I obtained my Swiss federal diploma as a certified accountant while working.
At Karpeo, I oversee the production of client work and the organisation of the team. I am directly involved in annual closings, tax returns and VAT or payroll matters that require deeper analysis.
I also coordinate the allocation of engagements, continuous training and process improvements. The standard of quality should reflect the risk and complexity of the engagement, not the size of the client.
Geneva brings together a number of specific situations: cross-border employees, internationally mobile directors, groups operating across jurisdictions and recurring social-insurance or withholding-tax questions.
My role is to gather the relevant facts, distinguish the general rule from the individual case and direct the client to the appropriate procedure or specialist when the matter falls outside the accounting firm’s scope.
